Perfect Door Installation in Staten Island & New Jersey... In 54 Precise Steps
Our Hyper-Specific Door Installation Process Ensures a Flawless Outcome. Every. Single. Time.
There’s certainly no shortage of door brands and companies available in Staten Island & New Jersey. Do a quick google search and you’ll quickly see what we mean. But do any of these door brands utilize cutting-edge manufacturing, high-end components, and innovative design in their fabrication process? Which door should you choose for your Staten Island & New Jersey home?
Here’s the thing: Even filet mignon tastes awful if it’s cooked in the microwave.
You could pick the BEST door in the world, but it will fail if it’s poorly installed. It could have the best energy efficiency, stoutest materials, and strongest warranties. But if it isn’t PRECISELY installed to ensure the tightest, straightest fit, it won’t matter how good the brand is. You will experience substandard performance, inadequate efficiency, and costly repair problems – it’s that simple.
To achieve perfect door installation, a contractor must be meticulous. Exacting. Demanding. Removing the old door and slapping a new one in the existing frame with a few flimsy screws – i.e., Rip & Stick installation – won’t cut it. To guarantee premium performance, every detail must be considered. From the condition of the frame to the type of insulation… even to the quality of the caulk.

At The Men With Tools, we approach door installation with this down-to-the-caulk level of detail.
We treat our “filet mignon” doors with the care and craftsmanship required to maximize their performance. Other Staten Island & New Jersey door companies “microwave the steak” because it’s fast and easy. We cut the beef, tenderize it, season it, marinade it, and grill it to perfection. In other words, we take the time and perform all the proper installation steps to guarantee you get the most from your doors.

More Than Precise Installation -
A Pleasant Experience
More Than Precise Installation - A Pleasant Experience
We don’t just concern ourselves with the technical details; we also bend over backward to make sure you have an easy and pleasant experience. Before installation, we lay down rubber mats in all entryways, place drop clothes in the work and foot-traffic areas, protect your furniture, and remove pictures and shelves hanging on your walls to prevent them from being damaged.
After installation, we perform a thorough inspection and cleanup of the work area. We haul away all garbage, vacuum the jobsite, and remove all drop clothes, rubber mats, and materials from the job. Finally, we show you how to operate your doors and present you with a certificate of satisfaction. If you’re happy with our work, you sign off on the project. If you feel there is something we missed, we take the proper action to correct it. We don’t consider the job done until YOU consider it done.
Even after installation, we still have your back. We protect your door project with a TRUE Lifetime Warranty. It covers materials, labor, and even homeowner accidents—all at $0.00 cost to you. If you EVER experience a problem with a door we installed, just call us. We’ll take care of everything.
